Theatre of Possibility is born with the intention of exploring new ways of using the theatre as a tool for helping people in need. That need could be either emotional or physical.
WHY THEATRE?
 The therapeutic effects of theatre have been known for centuries. Drama Therapy has long been an established discipline widely used in medical areas the world over.
We don’t intend to do therapy with our theatre but we are going to use all the possibilities that theatre as an artistic expression provides us with.
Our aim is simple enough: to communicate our positive messages to an audience, any audience. Sometimes our message will form an integral part of the script; others, in the artistic expressions that we choose at particular junctures.
Nowadays nearly everything is communicated from behind screens: cinema, television, computers, telephone, consolas, ipods etcetera etcetera.
We are limiting our sensorial experiences to practically just two senses: sight and hearing.
Being a live event, Theatre of Possibility invites us to engage all our senses.
It is for that reason that we think the theatre it is a perfect tool for the transmission of positive messages.
THEATRE OF POSSIBILITY & SCIENCE
 Theatre of Possibility takes on board the new concepts of the emerging sciences of the last 30 years. This new science is in many respects the Science of Possibility. For instance, at a sub- atomic level, nowadays the
world of physics assumes that what it is seen depends very much on the observer´s perspective.
If it is observed as a particle it responds as a particle and every equations
fix each other. But if it is perceived as wave, it simply behaves as exactly
that:
a wave. So, what is it, wave or particle?
The conclusion is very surprising for the classic physics because for the first time it emerges something which has come to be known as the uncertainty principle: the law of possibility.
It is and it is not particle as well as wave, since everything depends on the angle chosen by the observer.
OUR MESSAGE
Theatre of Possibility works with the belief that there is not any fixed reality out there, that we contribute to create it with our own perceptions, with our point of view which in turn determines our actions.
And if we start to believe that we are not slaves to any destiny of any kind, or any given reality, we will start to gain confidence about that we can become active agents to change any circumstance in our emotional or physical environment.
This message, which is the core of our theatre, will be present in each of our projects, always in the hope that what we do reverberate in everyone, be they the creators themselves or the audience.
The aim, as always, will be to ensure that we can all become the true creators of our own lives:
